यह आश्चर्यजनक लग सकता है, लेकिन मुंबई में प्रतिष्ठित होटल ताज महल पैलेस को प्रेतवाधित माना जाता है। यह होटल कुछ साल पहले दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण आतंकवादी हमलों सहित कई ऐतिहासिक घटनाओं का घर रहा है। इस जगह के किंवदंतियों के अनुसार, होटल की योजना मूल रूप से फ्रांसीसी वास्तुकार डब्ल्यूए चेम्बर्स द्वारा डिजाइन की गई थी। लेकिन जब वह इंग्लैंड की यात्रा से लौटे, तो वह यह जानकर चौंक गए कि होटल का निर्माण उनकी वास्तु योजना के अनुसार नहीं किया गया था। चैंबर्स इतने दिल टूट गए थे कि उन्होंने आत्महत्या कर ली, होटल की पांचवीं मंजिल से कूदकर। होटल के कर्मचारियों सहित कई लोगों के पहले हाथ की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, चैंबर्स का भूत अभी भी संपत्ति के पुराने विंग में घूमता है।

                     Ghost of Taj Mahal




As surprising it may seem, but the iconic Hotel Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai is believed to be haunted. The hotel has been home to a lot of historical events including the unfortunate terrorist attacks a few years back. According to the legends of this place, the hotel’s plan was originally designed by French architect W.A. Chambers. But when he returned from a trip to England, he was shocked to find that the construction of the hotel was not done according to his architectural plan. Chambers was so heartbroken that he committed suicide, jumping off from the fifth floor of the hotel. According to first hand reports of several people, including the hotel staff, the ghost of Chambers still walks around in the Old Wing of the property.
